About Me

I’m Laurel, a passionate dog trainer and behaviour specialist with over four years of hands-on experience. My journey into the world of dog training began with my own (now ex) reactive bully mix, Rocco. Learning to truly understand his needs and behaviour completely changed our relationship—and sparked my love for training. That experience opened the door to a whole new world for me, and I knew I wanted to help other dogs and their owners build the same kind of connection and understanding.

Since then, I’ve gone on to foster and adopt Rari, my working-line Malinois x Dutch Herder, who has pushed me to deepen my knowledge even further, especially in high-drive and working breeds. I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioural backgrounds—from sensitive rescues to confident, energetic working dogs.

I’ve spent years shadowing respected trainers and working in daycare and kennel settings, gaining invaluable experience with reactivity, obedience, and everything in between. My goal is to help you and your dog create a calm, clear line of communication, build trust, and ultimately enjoy life together as a team.
